It pains me to write this, but last night I broke a beautiful rose quartz healing wand given to me by a dear friend. I'd had the wand for about 3-4 years and it was sitting on my bedside table. I must have bumped it with my pillow during the night and it fell to the floor and broke in half.
Can anyone provide any information about working with broken or damaged crystals?

The fact that it broke or is damaged should not cause any harm to the intended energies of the crystal itself. Be positive, now you have two rose quartz crystals.
It also may have been a message that perhaps it is time to replace it or perhaps move on to another stronger type of crystal.
Rose quartz here in the US are not usually very expensive, even wands, so maybe shop around if you choose to replace it and remember to cleanse the new one.
There are many crystal sellers I have done business with on ebay and on www.healingcrystals.com. I like healing crystals as they are very reasonable, have great sales and if you buy bulk you qualify for wholesale prices.
Good luck my friend, for all is not lost, think of this as a positive message and if you listen you will know what the message is.
