Just curious as if anyone else reads tarot or runes or any other form of divination?
I usually prefer to use my runes as they seem more personal to me and i feel more comfortable with them. However i read tarot some too. I use to forget alot of the meanings and have to look thinks up in my book. Till a friend shown me a new way to read them. Now i think intuition readings are the best. Basically you shuffle, and lay out the spread as usual but you interpret the card not by books or meanings of the cards but by the first thing that pops into your head when you see the pictures, like the image on the card that stands out the most. Like i said before trying this i didn't like reading for other people cus i would take ages looking things up. But a few nights ago i tryed this with a friend and used a deck that normally would be pretty hard to read and to my surprise this time it was very easy and right on. Now i will have to try that with my antique tarot deck wrote in french as ive never been able to use them tho the energy in them is very intense.

Hello.
Yes. I just use my intuition along with the tarot cards and oracle as well. I used to work with crystals, still do from time to time. I also can scry with a crystal ball for regarding the tools. And I love using tea leaves as well as tree leaves and clouds to scry with. I'm not good with using runes because the way I was taught was to see through the rune's energy, actually look clairvoyantly within the crystal to divine the imagery... it just felt an odd but interesting way of using runes. So although I have runes I don't tend to use them that much. My new found favourite tool though is my clear quartz crystal balls as they are beautiful to work with. Except of course when archangels and spirit come through, then i just kinda use my mind as the impressions come via thought....or imagery. lol.... I don't use archangel cards though, they've never sat right with me. My tarot cards deck vary from the fey decks to the Native American Tarot and the Crow Magick Tarot. But always use intuition, as you don't really need the book --- too fussy to look through the many pages trying to find the interpretation.... best to just trust yourself and anything that comes to you...
Brightest blessings, Wolfshadow

I use a deck of tarot cards but I read a bit differently than other people. I used to not have a guide sit there and guide me through the motions but now I do. Recently he has been teaching me how to read the cards, how to shuffle them, how to focus, etc. He corrects me when I'm wrong and points out things. I usually shuffle my cards by moving them around across a surface, mixing them up. Then I bring them together again. Then i cut them into three decks. Then I have to 'feel' which deck goes back into the pile again. So I put them back into one stack one by one. While doing all of that I set my intention inside my head. I ask the cards to give me hints/clues not only through the descriptions in the book but also from the pictures, name of the cards, and sometimes random images in my head when I touch a card. When I read the card I don't always go by everything on the description of the card in the book. I pick out what feels right. I pick out things that I feel needs to be said and that are true. When I look at the pictures I pick out something in the picture that stands out to me most. If it keeps standing out to me then it means something. For example if there is a horse in the picture with a knight on it..I pay more attention to the horse because it is standing out to me. It is a white horse but that doesn't mean that the person that I'm reading for had a white horse. I say, "You had a horse in your past life?" I knew it wasn't of a white color but sometimes it's hard to know what color it was at all but I try to be as accurate as possible. That's how I read my cards though..
