Just written this, hope some empaths will find it useful if they want to Ground and Protect. It does help to know if that what you're feeling isn't your emotion, then you can ask your guides by thought 'please take whatever I'm feeling away if it is not my emotion. please also send the person who is projecting love and healing light, thank you'
Grounding Meditation
Breathe in, breathe out. Three times. Don't alter your breathing, just relax. Imagine you're sitting against the trunk of an old oak. Picture yourself relaxing, leaning into its bark. Breathe out, 1,2,3,4, breathe in, 1,2,3,4. See the sunlight up above you filling you with its golden energy, pouring into every core of your being. See this golden energy expand outwards so that it's filling the tree with it's energy, descending right down to it's very roots. Ask the tree for its permission to ground with you. Feel the roots circling around your ankles, diving deep into the earth, through its earthy soil, sand, and finally wrapping the roots around the heated rocky layer. Feel them anchoring on firmly. Bring your attention up to the present, you are now safely grounded. If you're feeling light/airy, tingly, don't worry, take a sip of water to restrengthen the connection to mother earth.
Protection Meditation
Visualize a beautiful pink pearly iridescent bubble bouncing along the ground towards you. See yourself step into the bubble, inviting in any angel guides you want around you for extra protection. Place a piece of labradorite in front of you, see this labradorite growing gradually bigger, more intense with it's energy engulfing you. See a small door carved out of the stone of labradorite embedded in the exterior. Grasp the handle to open it, ask the labradorite to protect you as you step into the interior of the crystal. This is your daily protection, give thanks to the labradorite and to your guides for safely making this journey. Take a sip of water to reground.
