So let me get this straight........ they started building this thing back in the early 80's, at the time the scientific world was saying gimme gimme gimme to the governments money. All the sudden now the project is complete they say NOOoooo you can't turn it on that would cause the end of the world!! uumm. scientist really need to learn how to think before they think.
I do recall cold fusion projects had a lot of money literally sunk into them. All for naught. Seems the scientific community has no end to the wondrous projects they can get the govt to fund.
The real reason they don't want this LHC turned on is cause they know it's just going to make a lovely long distance hum. Tell you what i'll pick up the phone,place a long distance call and hum down the line; you'll get the same effect.
What do you all think about this as it baffles me!!!!
