I do know some crop circles are man made but there are those that have no simple explanation.
(Guide) Crop Circle Theories
Crop Circles are unexplained designs that are imprinted over the span of usually one night in fields of mostly wheat & corn, but have also occurred in barley, oats, rape (canola), grass, trees, and even snow. While some are proven to be man made (a man with a wooden plank and rope can create one in just hours), there are still a lot of questions about the other crop circles which display some unique characteristics. Humans cannot account for some formations which researchers say display characteristics not likely to be created by humans.
Theories that support how some crop circles are not man made:
Numbers - There are far too many crop circles for humans to make them all, how could so many crop circles all across the globe be created. 10,000 crop circles have shown up since the 1970s, the first crop circle ever was created in 1647 in England.
Complexity - Many of the crop circles are incredibly complex and form shapes and pictures not likely to be created by humans. Most of the complex formations are in the UK.
Placement - Many crop circles are found to be in remote parts of the world, and even in restricted military areas which are fenced in. The only 2 countries crop circles are not reported in are South Africa and China.
Plants - Genuine crop circles have plants which are weaved together when they are flattened, which isn't possible with the tools hoaxers have. Genuine crop circles also have their stems bent instead of broken, which also suggests that the crops could have been superheated as they were pushed down (plants are more soft/malleable when heated). Many of the crops are made up of plants that shouldn't be able to be bent, and actually snap (much like a celery plant) when bent too far. Humans have not been able to duplicate bending the stalks without breaking it and no scientist or botanist has been able to explain this phenomena yet.
Soil - The soil under crop circles are very dry and dehydrated, even after heavy rains. Also, soil in the crop circles have also been tested to be two to three times higher in radioactivity than soil outside of the formation and surrounding plants.
UFOs - UFOs have also been seen around crop circles sometimes even while they were formed. Circles may contain energies not fully understood yet, or it is used as a form of communication to humanity in a picture message.
Seeds - Some crops in a crop circle have seeds that grow abnormally which can be stunted, seedless, and even smaller than regular crop seeds.
Increased Crop Growth - Some crops yield more with a crop circle, Tim Carson reported in 1997 a DNA formed crop circle which increased his crop yield by 30-40 percent,
Cell Changes - Some crops even show a change in the size of their cells
Electromagnetic Anomalies - Electrical equipment and compasses sometimes malfunction or act weird while in crop circles which indicate strong electromagnetic distortions. Investigators like Colin Andrews as also reported EM measurements of 40-50 nano telsas (10 times the radiation level of a normal field).
Psychic Connection -Psychics, they say, are particularly tuned in to crop circles. "Some area psychics began to pick up messages from some intelligence associated with the circles," says "Crop Circles: A Deeper Look", "predicting the very next formation; it's design and location. Sure enough, their predictions came true. This leads us to some other fascinating occurrences surrounding this phenomenon."
Sounds - Researchers sometimes detect a strange sound when they listen to 5KHz frequencies, and people have reported a "trilling" sound near the direction of the crop circles.
Side Effects of the Circle - Some of the physical effects on people in the circle are nausea, dizziness, tingling sensations, pains, and excitement, some have even reported being knocked off their feet in the presence of a circle. Animals can also be affected by crop circles, sheep in the area go into a frenzy, and one researcher even let his dog enter a newly formed circle, the dog became very ill and vomited for an hour after. Another witness testified: "During a third visit into the main Chiseldon formation in 1996 I encountered a couple who couldn't understand why their normally placid cat suddenly became agitated the moment he crossed the threshold of the formation. He protested and looked around frantically for a way out. Once outside he was back to his normal self."
So What Creates Them?
The theories on what creates crop circles, if they are not man made, are many and could make for another article. But some of the most common theories include whirlwind vortexes, plasma vortexes (the balls of light?), Earth energies, extraterrestrials, underground archaeology, sound vibrations, heavenly or demonic forces, and military experiments including microwaves.
If the anomalies listed above are real, a thorough, rigorously scientific examination of crop circles and their effects is called for to help unravel this mystery.

I think crop circles can''t all be hoax's,there are too many of them. I do remember 2 guys coming forward to show how to make a crop circle with a board and some rope but how do we explain the formations made in a pitch black field and some made in minutes - that are amazing?
What is your opinion on crop circles?
