Now I am a Ouija board user and and have had personal experiences that debunk this debunk video. I'll tell my little story after the video.
This is a Penn & Teller video from their Showtime series. Now the "witches" that are in this video are obviously out for the buck, I give them no credence at all as being true believers of the craft.
Now Penn and Teller do some demonstrations that were unique to say the least. And of course included was a psychologist to give his learned opinion. Watch and come up with your own conclusions.
Now that you have seen the video you may have come to your own conclusions. This may validate one of the many reasons I use and believe in the Ouija.
A few years back my teens had some of their friends over to hang out. One of their friends, Redd (RIP) came to crash at my house as he had been drinking (yes, he was of age to do this). Now Redd passed out cold on the couch from being inebriated. I mean, like he was flat out gone.
Since I was monitoring the teens, I allowed them, with my permission and supervision to use the Ouija. Two people were using the board as I looked on.
Things started out pretty slow, then things started to get real creepy. Contact was made with a spirit or entity, for as time passed I had to stop the use of the board and cleanse it.
This is why. The planchette was answering their questions and it began to become very rapid with the answers. Now remember, Redd is out cold on the sofa next to the coffee table where the Ouija was being used. All of a sudden, as the answers came thru the board, Redd starting speaking along with the answers the board was giving. After this occurred for about 3-5 minutes, it was too much, as it was apparent something had started to channel itself through Redd due to his having no protection and being in a state of vulnerability. Word for word he was speaking the same thing that was being spelled out by the board.
I immediately stopped the session. It scared most of the people there, but I recognized what was happening.
So how is this possible if the Ouija is not the real thing. He was passed out cold drunk, was not participating in any way or form and had no memory of this the next morning. I admit, I had made the mistake of assuming just because I was monitoring the events, means nothing when it comes to using the board. A valuable lesson learned there.
So Mr. psychologist in the video, how would you explain this one.
Point made, Ouija is NOT a game. And many people have learned this the hard way, especially if you watch ghost investigation shows, some of the investigations relate back to the client using the Ouija in complete ignorance.
Please learn all you can if you choose to use the Ouija, for it may appear innocent, but we never know who we invite through the portal once it has been opened.
