Odd experience

I had an odd experience when travelling through Ireland in 1992. We had visited The Burren in County Clare and I saw some information about a ruined church and thought it was worth a look. I was particularly drawn to seeing the carving of a head which was set into a niche in one wall. We eventually found the church which stood in it's own church yard in the middle of a field. You could see mounds across the field which were ruins of a medievil village. We made our way to the church and went straight in without even exploring the surrounding churchyard. The church was just the four walls, the roof having fallen in. I had only taken a few steps into the church when everything started to spin and I felt like the walls were closing in on me. It felt very claustrophobic which was odd considering how open it was. I said to my friend that I had to get out of there and we left, but I had this really strange feeling with me all day.
We got on with our trip and I didn't think anything more of it. I didn't even know what the church was called or have a photo of it. It wasn't till years later after I had returned to New Zealand and started on my spititual path that I had any insight on my experience. I asked a clairvoyant about it and was told that it was a past life experience. I have since asked in meditation what had happened there and it wasn't pleasant. After some research, I happened to find a photo on some random persons holiday blog. I also found out that it had Templar connections which is also connected to my experience. So if anyone is travelling through County Clare take a look at Carron Church. It's a beautiful spot with a not very nice past.

theres a templa berried here in cormnwall which ive been meaning to find very intersting its not to far from where i live 4 or 5 miles i think from what ive been told they cant knock it down because of whoes berried there its the same deralict i will find it soon enough and see what happens when i get there would be nice to have a glimpse of the past

I've heard so many conflicting stories about the Templars. Some say they were like Doctors, others say they were wealthy noblemen, other stories talk about cruelty and violence. My experience was of cruelty and violence. Not nice at all. When I was in the U.K and had access to all these amazing places, I wasn't on the journey I'm on now and wasn't interested. Now I'm interested, I'm so bloody far away and it's so frustrating. Sometimes I actually feel homesick which probably sounds really odd. I'm determined to get back someday, I just hope I won't be too old to do what I want when I get there. Lol!

maybe somthing to do is try get pics of the sites and see what you get from the pics might be intresting might be nothing but its worth a go .

That's a thought Paul, I hadn't thought of that myself. I have some awesome photos of Ireland of burial sites, ring forts and stone circles. I might have to hunt them out but I think they're in the roof. Don't fancy going up there at the moment, our ground is too shakey. It would be too scarey in the roof space in an earthquake!!

Thanks Tela, it gives me goosebumps seeing it. I have a couple of pics I've saved from another site but I don't look at them very often. It's interesting seeing close ups of the remains of the village as we didn't get to have a look at that.
