Is Channeling Real

I am a little undecided on the theory of channelling.
I recently listened to a couple of the Kryon channellings, and they seemed very much like someone trying to hypnotise those listening, ala the cults that have caused many issues in the past.

Any thoughts or experiences with channellling would be appreciated.
Also, can anyone give an example of anything at all EVER that has been channelled and since proven accurate.

Moomin you have brought up a very controversial topic in regards to channeling. I have in the past and still do research on that subject and unfortunately almost everything I read is either written by a skeptic or one in the scientific fields. And the conclusion is always a big NO.

Channeling in the broadest sense is an individual who allows to have a spirit speak through them and it appears as if they are indeed in a trance. That very well may be, as the channeler has allowed a spirit to inhabit their body and use it to communicate. It is not recommended for a novice or anyone to try this unless they are very advanced in their field. Once a spirit has entered a corporeal body (physical body) it may not be easy for one to make it leave. Another aspect is there are many entities in other realms and dimensions that can be dark, demonic or have never even physically lived in our realm. And one must be aware of the chances they are taking to use their self to channel. There are many entities who will lie and misrepresent who they are just to be allowed to enter our realm

Most people who have channeled unfortunately channel things that, as to date, are unverifiable, example - regarding Atlantis, or other events that any names or dates associated with it cannot be verified.

The question of channeling is completely up to an individual's belief. I once attended a channeling session and the person who came through could be documented, however, the information given was publicly known or published and that is where the argument begins. Did this person have prior knowledge of this information, person or event etc. or was it truly channeling.

I think once the paranormal field is more widely studied, we may indeed find that channeling is possible. You see, I am a believer, so I may be biased. We have yet to explain the unknown, so who is right and who is wrong?

I am a medium and to me it is a form of channeling. I do cross-over readings for people who wish to contact those who have passed. It is one of my many abilities. I have given numerous readings of this type and passed messages to loved ones from those beyond this realm. It is in the validation of the client that gives me the satisfaction of knowing it is not fakery or my imagination and builds a bond of trust between myself and the sitter. When I do this for complete strangers, I ask, how would I know this information if I don't know this person. It is because I speak to those who have passed.

I can give descriptions of an individual who has passed, their likes or dislikes and even answer questions from my sitter which I present to the one I may bringing forth to contact. And again, it is through the validation of the sitter that confirms I am indeed conversing with this person that has passed.

Channeling can be done through Automatic Writing, with the use of a Ouija Board and various other tools. Only the person who has requested making contact with the one who has passed knows the answers and if who comes through is really their loved one that is no longer in this mortal realm.

I find it to be a giant leap forward that many colleges now are offering courses in Parapsychology and the study of the unknown. We are still infants in that area and we have yet to touch the tip of the iceberg on the subject.

I hope I may have at least given you something to think about on the subject and you will find your own answers the more you research.

An interesting topic and I am glad you brought it up. Please post more on the subject as you do your research and keep this thread updated, for it will benefit many.
