This post is made in answer to Ghostrider's request and for others to learn a bit about Telepathy
The simplest definition of telepathy can be stated as direct communication between minds. Telepathy: the ability to communicate without the use of the five senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste). Now I will add here that there are several schools of thought about using the five senses in regards to Telepathy. In my personal opinion, all of these senses can be incorporated into learning Telepathy. An instinct that lays dormant in most of us but allows us to tap into our latent abilities in times of emergency or need.
Where this instinct lies is uncertain. Some say that it is located in the huge area of our brains that are wholly unused, whereas others argue that instinct existed before the brain evolved and must therefore lie elsewhere in the body. Nobody knows for sure.
When we intuitively know that something is happening, or about to happen, our instinct has kicked in. It's during these times that we are drawing upon resources within the unconscious mind. When the resources of two unconscious minds link together on the same frequency, we call it telepathy.
Telepathy can be either projective or perceptive; we either send or receive. If you know who is calling before you answer the ringing phone, you are probably a good receiver. If you think of a person and they call you, you are most likely better at sending.
Telepathy, from the Greek tele, "distant", and patheia, "feeling", is the claimed innate ability of humans and other creatures to communicate information from one mind to another, without the use of extra tools such as speech or body language. Considered a form of extra-sensory perception or anomalous cognition, telepathy is often connected to various paranormal phenomena such as precognition, clairvoyance and empathy. Though many scientific experiments into telepathy have been conducted, including recent ones by respected universities (some claiming significant positive results), telepathy remains controversial and is not widely accepted by scientists.
There are certain steps in which one needs to learn Telepathy. To learn telepathy, all you have to do is believe that it exists and that it can be achieved. Forms of telepathy- There are four forms of telepathy namely latent, precognitive, emotive and super conscious telepathy.
Types of mental telepathy- Two types of mental telepathy can be identified, depending upon sender and receiver location. Global telepathy refers to a transfer of thoughts, feelings or emotions from one person to another without physically seeing each other. The communication can range in distance from a couple of street blocks apart to a location on the other side of the world. The other telepathy type is Sight telepathy which refers to communication without actual exchange of words, only by means of logical thoughts and instructions.
How to actually do telepathy- The more you practice this form of communication, the easier it will be. Get someone whom you totally trust and who is willing to go on the non-verbal journey with you. Agree on a specific time of day which you will open your minds totally and communicate to one another your thoughts, feelings and emotions. One of you of course being sender and the other receiver of the information. Start with short, uncomplicated messages such as a name or colour. The more seasoned telepather you become, the more complicated and detailed your messages can be.
Relaxation- Relaxation during the communication process is absolutely essential. The more stressed and forced the transfer of information the more difficult it will be to develop and achieve full telepathic communication.
Often once we learn to speak the ability of telepathy fades from our memory. Telepathy is still alive in all human beings. It does not die when we learn to speak it only fades deep within our conscious. We can develop telepathy skills again. Picking up on someone’s energy is the key to telepathy. Animals use telepathy by simply connecting with energy patterns. Humans do the same.
It is similar to the way electricity is brought into your home.
When you think about something on a specific intensity level it sends out energy frequencies in a particular pattern. The energy sent out begins searching for the focused destination or match. Every living being has its own energy vibration or frequency.
Although telepathy sounds strange it is really the basic form of communication for all animals and people. Every thought becomes energy which can be sent out to a specific person through telepathy. Developing telepathy consists of certain steps which can be done to increase your telepathic skills.
One of the most important steps to develop telepathy is to believe in the concept. Your hidden telepathy ability will stay hidden until you believe it exists. When practicing telepathy it is important to have the person you are connecting with thinking something emotional or interesting.
It sends out stronger energy frequencies than other subjects. Don’t try too hard. Focusing for too long will drain your energy and discourage you. Practice your telepathic skills in short intervals when trying to develop telepathy. To develop telepathy you must be loose, relaxed, and receptive. Make sure you are in good health mentally as well as physically.
Remember, telepathy is a skill and it takes plenty of practice to develop it. Keep at it and do not give up.
One of the ways you can practice is by using a deck of cards, regular playing cards. One at a time, face down, choose one and first work on picking up the color of the card, red or black. This of course gives you a 50% probability. The next step in the learning process is to take only the cards with numbers. Then try, with face card down, to choose the number of that card. The third practice is still with the numbered cards, face down try to choose the number along with the color. This takes time and practice, but it is achievable. If you have Zenner cards, by all means use those.
The exercise done in chat the other night was just the tip of the iceberg in touching what Telepathy really is.
The link I am about to give you is just a sampling and practice in using Telepathy. It is a good range of tests between you and the computer and can be practiced many times. It is one I have used in the past and it does help to learn to promote focus. Disregard the Person to Person section of testing unless you have a willing participant.

Telepathy is a form of ESP and and the broad range definition of PSI is any purportedly psychic phenomenon.
If you should have any questions, please feel free to ask, otherwise without questions how will we ever learn.
