The dedication and attuning to the life force energy of your crystal can be done after it has been cleansed.
Dedication
Dedicating crystals ensures that they can only be used for good. It also acts as a safeguard that protects anyone, including yourself, who wants to work with the crystal.
Love is the most powerful force in the universe and transcends all barriers, even the care of rock-like crystal. It is with love that we dedicate our crystal.
Following are two ways of dedicating your stone, as always use the one that suits you best, trusting yourself and if you feel the need to tweak either, do so, allowing it to "fit" you better.
Method 1
Hold the crystal in your left hand over your heart chakra. Visualize light streaming from "Source" through your crystal. At the same time ask that your crystal may only be used in a good and positive way for the greatest good of all. This will ensure that the stone is lovingly used for light-filled purposes only.
Method 2
•Sit quietly in a relaxed and alert state. Watch your breath flow slowly in and out, close your eyes and allow your body to relax even more.
•Feel peace flow in with each breath and negativity leave you with the out breath. Peace becomes part of your very being as your mind quietens down.
•Hold the crystal in your dominant hand and place the other hand over the stone asking that the crystal be used in a good and positive way. Touch the crystal to your heart and visualize a pink mist surrounding your crystal, emanating from your heart. Feel this love coming from deep within, as it pours into your crystal.
•It is always best to use your own words for a dedication but here are two dedications that you can use with either of the above visualizations.
Dedications
1.From this point on may this crystal only be used in the name of love and light. Always for good and high purpose. May only the purest, highest and finest energies be channeled through this crystal and may it work always in accordance with Divine Will. So be it!
2.I dedicate this crystal to the benefit of Mother Earth and the brotherhood of all creation. The crystals' energy will only be utilized in the practice of non-injury in thought, word and deed. So be it!
Attuning to the Life Force Energy of Crystals.
After the dedication of your crystal you will now follow by attuning to the life force energy of the crystal.
•You will need to focus and be still to feel the life force energy emanating from the crystal. Relax your body, starting at your feet and moving up to your crown; call your energy back to you, from all parts of the Universe, by using intention. Centre yourself by grounding to earth using intention or visualization.
•Rub your hands fiercely together for about 30 seconds or so to generate a lot of heat.
•Sensitize your hands by opening them and lightly blowing on them to create a tingling sensation.
•Hold your crystal in one hand; lightly touch the crystal (point) to the centre of your other hand's palm. In the beginning start by using a single terminated clear Quartz point.
•Draw the crystal up and move it around in circular motion until you can feel the energy; it will be like a tingling, coolness or moving air.
•See how far away you can pull your crystal and still feel the vibration on your palm.
•Experiment by running the crystal over your body at a distance of about six inches (15 centimeters).
•To increase your sensitivity to life force energy you can also rub your palms together using sea (rock / kosher) salt. Always be in a calm state of mind or you risk feeling nothing. When you have the crystal in your hand, communicate with your crystal by asking for permission to work with it and sending it your welcome.
Love your crystal and see it respond to you and your vibration in a very positive manner.
Remember that cleansing is important before dedication, attuning and programming your crystal.
