I'm from Liverpool, the road I lived in was St Domingo Road,in the 1600s the very top of the road was a intersection with 4 roads leading off it.....a crossroads,it's still there but very different now there are houses and Everton park is there but it's still a crossroads.
I found out a vampire is buried at these crossroads, in 1600 a man was said to have died, was buried but came back and bite his wife. The men of the area dug up the body and took him to the crossroads were they buried him face down with stakes through his arms and legs.
I'm not sure how true the man returning from the grave is but I do know there is a man buried at those crossroads who was thought to be a vampire.Everytime I drive past there I always think about it and shiver a little.
* men laying pipes were said to have seen the skeleton of this man.
