This was my first post about my childhood home ;part 1 www.spiritspathway.co.uk/index.cgi?board=stairs&action=display&thread=1808In February 2008,excavations were being carried out for a new link road a Junction 6 of the M62 near Huyton, when workman found over 3,000 objects dating back to prehistoric age,as well and tiles and pottery that were made for the twentieth Roman Legion which was based in Chester around 167 AD. Believe it or not but the archaeological site was deemed to unimportant to delay the motorway scheme and so the Highway Agency reburied it and its now entombed inin concrete and tarmac. I feel so angry the authorities covered up a wealth of history that so many people would be interested in,we can always learn from the past. Well I hope other people will share their experiences and history of the place they live or lived Much love suzy
