Who is Archangel Azrael . . .
Azrael is a Celestial Angelic Being within the Angelic Order known as the Archangels. Archangels are responsible for ministering to humans, considered somewhat like "manager angels," Archangels oversee the responsibilities of Guardian Angels and the other Celestial Light Beings that act as our guardians and guides.
Each Archangel has specific qualities that distinguish their characteristics and their specific angelic responsibilities. Archangel Azrael's primary angelic responsibility is to assist those who are making the transition from physical life to spirit life. Azrael ensures that the transition process is painless and effortless as well as offers safe passage to those who are transitioning, lovingly guiding them to their heavenly home. He also offers assistance to new arrivals helping them to adjust to life in Spirit.
In addition to assisting those who are transitioning from the physical plane to Spirit, Archangel Azrael brings Universal Healing Energy, love and comfort to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Azrael holds this space with deep honor and respect, and considers this a very sacred service. Understanding that grief is a natural and also a very personal process, Archangel Azrael comes with great compassion and wisdom.
Our experiences with death and grief are considered extremely sacred and are held by ALL the Celestial Guardians and Guides with tremendous honor and respect. Archangel Azrael understands that many of us elect to learn important life lessons through experiences involving death and grief. These lessons are personally designed and requested prior to our incarnation, some of which include lessons involving forgiveness, guilt, anger, and regret in relation to the loss of a loved one.
So is another of Azrael's sacred responsibilities is to assist those working through these important life lessons, helping to release and heal the pain of unforgiveness, guilt, anger and regret, so that we may find peace, and grow and ascend through the process.
Archangel Azrael's angelic duties naturally include assisting grief counselors and assisting those whose life purpose involves mediumship and assisting those whose life purpose involves providing spiritual guidance.
Azrael has a loving, gentle angelic energy and holds space with quiet strength. His color is often seen as pale yellow and/or like the color of creamy vanilla. Archangel Azrael, like all those within the Angelic Realm, will come with unconditional love, providing guidance and assistance toward our highest good and always honoring our Free Will.

The reason I post this is that when ever I do my pathfinder meditation at the end i always look back to see my guides and angels...I always see Arch Angel Azreal, a Turquoise Dragon and a Phoenix. I wonder paul if you have any knowledge as to why as i feel great love and protection from all of them?
