I just wanted to share this with you, i drew the picture a while ago whilst studying counselling at college, the tutor asked that we draw an image which represented our life, using our left hand thus using the left side of our brain, the creative and emotive side, not to think about it but draw the first thing that sprang to mind, then reflect on it and discuss what it meant.
The tree i drew as two very different sides one side is full of blooms and is flourishing, the other side is bare and the leafs lay at it's base.
The blooming side is all the positive things in my life, it's strong, wise, full of love and grows more beautiful each day, it reaches towards the sunlight.
The other side is bare, the fallen leafs represent the sad things in my life, some like my brothers and my son feel too soon, others like my grandparents lived to full bloom then fell.
But they are not gone from my tree, they remain at the roots and feed the blooms on the other side, if not for them my tree would not grow, it would not be strong and wise, it would not learn the value of life's lessons, the tree needs rain as well as sunlight to enable it to grow and evolve, to be the very best it can be.
My precious loved ones are my very roots and remain with me always, and for them i carry on growing and seek the sunlight.
