The fastest way for me to ground is to think of me as a tree with roots going into the ground. It's quick and effective for me.
Another way I like to think it is to ground with the universe is that I think of my heart center as my center of whole being. I radiate whilte light first coming out of my heart center and then surrounding me and then with the whole earth as one.
