Ok i didn't know weather to put this in conspiracy or in media but i guess either is fine. It seems more and more since 911 and the advancement of technology it is used more and more to spy and probe everyones life and business. Anymore everywhere you go there are CCTV cameras, id cards, microchips or satellites watching. What are they so paranoid about? To me this seems like such a waist of tax dollars just so nosy people who are paranoid can watch and observe everyone. And we allow this to happen out of fear. Pretty soon privacy will no longer exist for anyone. People argue well if you have nothing to hide then it shouldn't matter... When it isn't about having anything to hide its about people going to far to in fringe on the rights of others without any just cause at all. And we don't know who is watching and for what cause. Seems Orwell was right all along. Check out this link news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/6995061.stmblacknight

Wow...just..Wow...This is really going to be an invasion of privacy if they make something that can peek into our houses and monitor what we are doing. I mean I don't care if this stuff is out on the streets. Heck it could help prevent crime or whatever. But having technology that can look into our homes? That's just too much...I really hope it won't come down to that.

the comment about cctv, they did a major trial on using audio in a couple of our major cities a while back so they wont be content with just watching us. Your wonderful local council is allocated money under the guise of anti terrorism that enables them to spy on us from everything to looking into our bank accounts to the contents of our bins and its this that i really despise, i mean if you look at all the acts of terrorism in the british isles over the last 100 years it prob wont come anywhere near the fatalities on push bikes! Basically we are force fed paranoia in the bucket loads which enables our own government to legitimise spying on its own people, and as for technology and where thats going we are already in a world were we have so much that the only limitation to spying on us is your creativity. Yes i know we cant get complacent about terrorism but isnt it time to redress the balance and take back our privacy? even though we have nothing to hide does that make it right for our lives to be exposed in such ways i think not!
