Cleansing crystals is a good way of clearing any negativity or previous old programmings away from your crystals. Here are a few good methods for cleansing your crystals.
1. Using colour to cleanse away any negativity, particularly high vibrational colours such as white, gold, silver. Imagine yourself standing beneath a golden shower of light and let the light clearing away any blemishes within the crystal, any old energy around the crystal.
2. Moonlight is a lovely method to cleanse crystals and any kind of tool. Place your crystals on the window sill for the duration of 3 nights or however long you feel it apt to leave them on there for and ask Selene, the moon goddess to cleanse and clear your crystals of any negativity and of any old energy lingering within the crystal.
3. Starlight – same method as moonlight.
4. Water – use warm or cold water depending on what the crystal likes (included in the getting to know process) to cleanse any blemishes or wash away the old negative energy which your crystal may have absorbed.
5. Burying – burying the crystal in soil and or using sea salt baths is also another good way of cleansing crystals.
6. You can also use any form of healing energy such as reiki – follow the instructions as to what it says on your manual. Or simply hold it in your hands and think send reiki to this crystal. Hold it for 30 seconds.
7. You can also smudge crystals. Choose your favourite incense to burn or the incense that sits right. I usually use sandalwood or nag champa because I love their smell. Hold this in front of the crystal and around it, allowing the smoke to clear away any energies as well as any energies around the surface space.
