Forget the fraudulent title of the "Demonologists" Ed and Lorraine Warren, but think of the study of non human demonic entities without the sensationalistic religious propaganda of legends and fantasy stories, but the more metaphysical Occult idea of the demon.
Many believe in the Occult world that demons are often entities created by negative evil human actions and thoughts (known as thought forms, in the Far East they are often called tuplas although commonly not associated with bad things) Its believed that by such traumatic things happening such as murder and rape, violence and even an alcoholic abusive relationship, the area that the evil event took place in could house dark beings that some might see as demons caused by feelings emotions that came from negative actions.
Some ask how can a demon be created out of nothing? But those people are thinking of a physical being as physical matter can not just manifest out of nothing . Its believed that spiritual matter is different and that the physical world can effect the astral one, which in turn can effect the physical realm… Say for instance a women is raped and murdered in an old abandoned house, obviously a lot of hate, anger, fear and terror would have happened there, which causes energy to form, most of which will slowly fade and vanish again, but sometimes its believed that some energy can form in the astral realm that runs right along side ours and then can grow into a thinking conscious being known as a demon, often called 'Astral Larvae' causing the old abandoned house to be demonically haunted. Its believed they can act like 'psychic vampires' draining the energy of people around the location causing the demon to become stronger and stronger, even attaching themselves to humans making them act in an uncharacteristic way, and often make them ill and even draining others they are around making them feel week and ill also.
These beings can dwell in haunted locations causing demonic hauntings and can manifest in visual characteristics that it has mimicked from humans around it, or even as dogs or other animals it might have become familiar with. There is a case in Ireland of one of these beings at Leap Castle, and when it was seen, it was said to be a morphing of different local wild animals that it might have observed.
Many of these entities have been seen by the human eye, and nearly always are some monstrous vision so ghastly it gives the observer nightmares for years, often representing a mishmash of different animals and human as already mentioned, often with red eyes and often seen to be decomposing, even the pungent smell of rotting flesh can be sensed, as if the entity is trying to manifest itself into a vaguely recognisable image from what it has seen around it, only its doing the opposite of decomposing. Could some become so cunning enough and powerful to be able to manifest in a perfectly human form? Could shadowers be connected to these beings?
This is believed to be why so many negative and demonic hauntings happen in buildings that have often seen a traumatic past such as with murders and others tragedies.
These kinds of demons would obviously be pure evil, but not evil in the way a Christian would see a demon, the Astral Larvae type demon is not evil because it rebelled against God like so many Christians Jews and Muslims believe, but is just a representation of human actions, it is just being its nature that it was created as, whether on purpose or by accident, it is a manifestation of human cruelly and negativity, it is not knowingly being evil, it is just being its nature, it has no freewill or responsibility, the responsibility lies in the hands of those who created it.
Could you know someone with something similar attached to them? Have you ever known anyone who makes you feel uneasy and you don’t know why? Or known someone who just makes you feel drained or ill and you have no idea why? Could they be inflicted with Astral Larvae?
I do not believe myself that every time something bad happens a demon is created, as much of the energy of bad things could just fade after time, but what if a form of energy could become conscious enough to want to live? Maybe it could feed on the life force around it and in the location. Invisible negative energy I believe exists in one way or another. Have you ever waked into a room after an argument and felt the atmosphere? Sometimes this energy I believe could grow powerful enough to be a entity all of its own.
What do you guys think, a load of old crap or does that make more sense than the "fallen angel" type of demon? Personally I think it does, as it also explains the belief that people who do bad things could literally have their own personal demons.
This knowledge is not very common in belief when it comes to the general population of the “Paranormal Investigator” even in demonology, but its because its such an unknown theory that I give it more credibility than the fallen angel myth.
