I was looking at water structures and found this dam,I thought it was interesting and wanted to share. The Monticello Dam at Lake Berryessa in Northern California is a giant drain emptying water from the lake at a rate of 48,800 cubic feet per second. Its known as the Morning Glory spillway and also known locally as The Glory Hole. I've never seen anything like this before, its an amazing structure..........just don't go swimming there love Suzy
