Marriott Millionaire's Son Wins $107 Million in Virginia Lotto
This story just blew me outta the water. My question is when is enough money enough? He is the son of the Marriott Hotel Mogol and is already wealthy beyond words. He plays the lottery and wins another 107 million dollars of which he gave less than 100 thousand dollars to charities. This is a good thing, but since he is wealthy beyond what I shall ever know, why not give it all to charity?
This just proves the old adage, "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer." I do not begrudge his winnings, good for him, but hey dude, spread the wealth.
As the Marriott president, McCarthy's father oversees the finances and leadership of over 3,500 hotels in the Americas, spanning multiple brands. He also oversees Ritz-Carlton for the corporation, according to the Marriott's website. SOURCE
What can I say? Some days it just ain't worth chewing through the leather straps...

He obviously does not need the money,I know it can be fun to win but I think he should of given more to charity, maybe as you said Oz all of it.That money probably won't make a bit of difference to his lifestyle,I hope his reasons for keeping the money didn't come from greed.
Some people have all the luck ;D ;D

I don't believe in luck personally. He was just meant to win that money. It is what it is. I hope it brings him happiness and like you, I hope it has no greed attached to it.
