Lets say for a moment, Mr. X has a glimpse into the future by way of precognition. During his vision, he sees an act of terror on, let's say the united states. Now Mr. X being extremely concerned about what he just saw, notifies the authorities, but they just shrug it off, write down the complaint... whatever.

Then two weeks later, the incident occurs. Do you believe the government is going to believe this was a psychic ability? Or do you think Mr. X is going to be held, questioned and possibly face some serious jail time, if not the death sentence.

What do you all think?

I believe they have psychics on the pay roll myself, so yes his claims would be taken seriously in my opinion.

I also believe psychics have been working for the governments of the world for some time but I don't know what would happen if Mr X walked into a police station to report a future incident.
I think they would write down his account and file it away somewhere believing Mr.X was a crank,when the future event did happen he would be taken into the police station and questioned,He would be kept in custody until they were completely satisfied he had nothing to do with the event.

I had occasion to find this out the hard way. In my old home town, a father was accused of kidnapping and killing his two small children. It made national news here in the states.

Now when I need to find peace and time for myself, I would travel a certain old back road which was wooded and overgrown with weeds and bushes, to get to a park by the River where I could sit on a bench and just watch the river and nature for hours.

Shortly after this hit the news, I took my daughters with me down the old road to share my place of peace. I did this quite frequently, either alone or with my girls.

One day with the girls I was driving down this road and I got hit with the most horrible scene of those two children and how they died and I sensed their remains were in a certain spot along this road.

For two years whenever I used this road I would mention this to my girls as I could not get the horrible scene out of my mind.The part of the country I lived in was smack in the middle of the bible belt and that should suffice enough information about one who has abilities.

I finally got the strength to go to the local authorities and tell them what I 'saw'. Worst mistake in my life. The first question they asked was not for any details, but had I ever been institutionalized. It was down hill from there as you can well imagine. It also gave them probable cause to think of me as a suspect.

I was wounded deeply, as I was only trying to help. The very saddest part of this is they did indeed find the two deceased children a few months later in the exact location I had told the authorities about. I was no longer on a suspect list as the father finally confessed.

I know there are many agencies of the law that do employ people with gifts with amazingly good results. I also know the government for many decades has done experiments with psychic abilities, ie: remote viewing.

This experience left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and time could have been saved to give the mother of these children closure. I know I have the ability to help many, but I no longer think of offering any help to the authorities until they learn and realize, that people do have certain gifts of awareness could be very beneficial to any ongoing investigations.
